MGS4 shipped around 3 million.
And the numbers are shipped to retailers, not sold to consumers.
But still excellent sales for MGS4, it'll push towards four million sold to consumers in the run up to christmas.

due to its fantastic price. On here alot op people just disregard the xbox in europe because they presume the playstation is all conquering but that isn't the case - the xbox has been selling atleast as much if not more in Europe than in America - it is only around 20,000 a week behind the ps3 which isnt bad considering the large gap teh ps2 had over the gamecube and original xbox.

they are still in 2nd place ( and tbh I think 2nd is there aim - anything to beat sony). They are in a better position to cut the price and get to a pricepoint where their console is accepted by the massmarket. as its the only console with a different playing experience. PC games are generally ps3 and 360 games with better graphics. No PC games can match the style of wii games.

the wii has sold 30 million faster than any console previously thats twice as fast as the previous 'casual' system the ps2. Its selling to hardcore and casual that is just undeniable.
